HOW WE BEGAN

Our family moved to the USA from Colombia in late 2002. Here, we assimilated into our new country’s culture by working hard, studying, and in general helping to contribute to our local economy.

After a former alterations shop closed forever, we decided it was time to invest in this new venture that you now know as Alter Creations despite my not having much previous experience in the fashion industry or the alterations business. We proudly run both its day-to-day operations and the website you’re currently checking out!

Now, almost 20 years later, both locals and visitors (from Las Vegas, California, Atlanta, Germany, Australia, and Scotland, among many other regions) have helped make Alter Creations the TOP alterations/tailoring shop in Wasatch and Summit counties.

In fact, even though some of them have alterations services in the areas they’re from, they often wait until they’re in Park City to work with us!
