Can You Believe We’re 15 Already?

We’re so proud to announce we’ve been doing business in this wonderful community for 15+ years and we couldn’t be more excited!

Park City and Utah in general have been wonderful to the shop and our family and we know we couldn’t have made Alter Creations the region’s top alterations shop without you all.

Doing business in Park City means we get to interact with so many great locals and tourists, including professionals, families, Olympians, and celebrities. Many of you come from other states and countries just to have us work on your projects and we couldn’t be more thankful for your consideration and patronage.

Doing business in Park City also means we’re near our volunteer work at Summit County Jail, where we run a Life Skills program we created called Learning from The Inside, which aims to help inmates succeed at staying safe and responsible once their jail term ends. This work has been very rewarding, to say the least.

Utah overall is a fantastic state to work in and we’re very fortunate this is the place we chose to call home when we moved here from Colombia in 2002.

Happy 14th Birthday to Us!

June 14, 2004 was a momentous occasion for our family: It was the day we opened our doors and began serving our Park City community.

Do the math: We turned 14 in June 2018!

Alter Creations Park City turned 14

When we first opened, locals and tourists started trickling in. They knew of us from our previous work at a local alterations shop that closed in 2004.

But it wasn’t long before word spread and projects began pouring in from people near and far!

We’re Relocating Nearer to Downtown & Old Town Park City!

When we first opened our doors in May 2004 we had one goal in mind: To serve the Park City community as best we could so that we could become THE top alterations shop around.

Over the years, residents from other cities and states began seeking our services, and some would even tell us they wait months, or until they’re back in Park City again, to get their clothes altered at Alter Creations.

That’s a huge honor!

At around the same time, we started serving international customers and, to our surprise, sports teams from other countries also came to us as their one and only choice as well!

Our work has made it to a few Olympics!

Big global companies, well-known actors and sports legends, movie crews, you name it: We’ve worked with them all.

And now we’re known as the top tailoring shop in not just Park City and Summit County, but also in Wasatch County. We might even venture to say that with our clientele and client satisfaction rate, we’re the TOP alterations shop in the state of Utah!

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves… yet.

Let’s first start with the big news of this post: WE’RE RELOCATING!

Alter Creations is moving!

After 14 years, we felt that we needed a change. We’ve been so fortunate to be at our location on Business Loop Rd. since we launched and that community is so kind and tight-knit. We’ll miss those neighbors.

Park City is such a vibrant community and we wanted to be closer to the action!

So yes, we’re staying in Park City, but now we’ll be in a more convenient location to local residents and tourists. That’s because we’ll now be closer to downtown and Old Town.

Visiting us will be a lot easier and since we’ll be nearer more businesses and other popular places, it’ll be much more convenient, too.
